Astra

Astra Veicoli Industriali S.p.A. is an Italian company that produces trucks, heavy transport vehicles and military vehicles. Astra was privately founded in 1946 in Cagliari, and since 1986 has been part of Iveco. The BM 300 series, featuring 4 models (with single-seat cab in sheet metal and two-seat cab in reinforced fiberglass) and 2 engines, was the last one made before the acquisition by Iveco. The Giugiaro-designed cab was the basis for all subsequent models until the 2000s.
