DESIGNER: Fabrizio Giugiaro

The Massif was created as a rugged, spartan off-roader suitable for the most extreme situations; the design, approved in early 2006, was developed with the support of Santana Motor, which supplied much of the mechanicals and components. The front end features a large U-shaped grille with Iveco branding incorporated, the headlights are circular in shape while the bumpers are made of plastic and unpainted. The side features domed wheel arches protected by bumper shields and a small air intake at the ends of the hood increases the amount of air available to cool the engine. The tail, on the other hand, features the spare tire on the tailgate, and the pickup versions have either rough plastic trim around the headlights or a protective metal grille.
