Suzuki considered Giugiaro's proposal too advanced and chose to use it as a starting point for the Fronte coupe presented two years later and subsequently mass produced. This small coupe takes up many ideas of shape of the Giugiaro sub-subcompact, but in a classic architecture where hood, windshield and roof make a definite break.
